South Korea will be keen to take advantage of a favourable draw when they play their first game of the Asian World Cup qualifying third round stage against Palestine on Thursday.
After scoring 20 and conceding just one in the second round phase, South Korea have been drawn against Palestine, Iraq, Jordan, Oman and Kuwait as they look to secure their place at the 2026 World Cup.
Palestine finished second in their group behind Australia to reach the third round and whilst they face a daunting fixture in Seoul, they shouldn't be underestimated in what otherwise appears to be an open group.
South Korea v Palestine has not been selected for TV coverage in the UK but the match will be available to watch live via our Sports Live Streaming service.
South Korea v Palestine will be played at the Seoul Olympic Stadium in South Korea and kick-off is at 12:00 BST on Thursday 5th September 2024.
South Korea are unbeaten in their last four matches, while Palestine are without a win in their last two.
Palestine have never qualified for the World Cup, while South Korea have participated at 11 World Cup finals, including each of the last 10 tournaments.
Thursday's match will be the first meeting between the two teams.
