We have priced New Zealand up at 2/1 to beat South Africa in Johannesburg in the 2024 Rugby Championship on Saturday.

The All Blacks fell to a shock 38-30 defeat at home to Argentina in their first Rugby Championship fixture of 2024, hugely denting their chances of defending the trophy they've won in all three years since expanding from the Tri Nations.

Although New Zealand bounced back with a 42-10 win the following week, Scott Robertson's men still have two trips to South Africa and a game in Australia to come.

If putting a combined XV together from the two sides, there's an argument that only Beauden Barrett would feature in the backline from the All Blacks, with Kurt-Lee Arendse and Cheslin Kolbe the two wingers. Indeed, Arendse and Kolbe are the two shortest-priced players to cross the whitewash on Saturday at 29/20 each.

The Boks' attacking style may well produce lots of points in Johannesburg, with over 29.5 points for the home side priced at 20/21.
