'The Rocket' Ronnie O'Sullivan is the 4/11 favourite to capture the coveted Masters title for what would be a record-extending eighth time.

O'Sullivan and Carter are set to compete for one of the most prestigious titles the sport has to offer, with UK Championship winner O'Sullivan chasing a record-extending 23rd Triple Crown success.

30 years after winning his first Triple Crown event, world number one O'Sullivan added a 22nd title in one of the big three tournaments at the UK Championship, beating Trump's conqueror Ding in the final.

The Rocket has also won more Masters crowns than anyone else, lifting his seventh title in 2017, and it would take a brave punter to rule him out capturing number eight on Sunday.

O'Sullivan is now one win away from glory, with Ali Carter - who beat Judd Trump in the quarters - his opponent.
