Barry Hawkins and Judd Trump clash in Sunday's final of the UK Championship, with the Bristolian looking to claim his third title of the season.
The Hawk hasn't won a tournament since the 2017 World Grand Prix but said he didn't fear anybody after beating Ronnie O'Sullivan 6-4 in the opening round in York.
He has since defeated David Gilbert (6-5) and Shaun Murphy (6-2) before winning a final-frame decider against Mark Allen 6-5.
Hawkins is clearly playing with fresh confidence but Trump is possibly the most in-form player in the world, beating Neil Robertson (6-3), John Higgins (6-5) and Zhang Anda (6-2) before getting revenge on Kyren Wilson for his defeat in the final of the Northern Ireland Open by triumphing 6-2 in the semis.
The Ace in the Pack won this tournament in 2011 and can continue his sensational season by taking down Hawkins in this best-of-19 frames clash at the Barbican.
Judd Trump -3.5 - 11/10
Trump has been terrific this season and his form was evident in his win over Wilson, recovering from 2-0 down to win 6-2, doing everything he needed to stop his rival from shining as he reeled off six successive frames.
He should be relaxed after playing in the afternoon semi-final on Saturday, while Hawkins' win over Allen went all the way, finally finishing at 00:57 on Sunday morning.
The Hawk successfully came through qualifying for this tournament and the win over O'Sullivan seems to have given him the additional confidence that has been missing from his arsenal in recent years.
Similar belief has fuelled Trump's form over the last couple of seasons, getting back to his best with five victories in 2023/24 and kicking on with successes in Saudi Arabia and Shanghai, as well as reaching the finals in Xi'an and Northern Ireland.
He beat Hawkins 4-1 in Belfast and could claim another comfortable victory. He is worth backing giving away a 3.5-frame deficit.
Judd Trump Over 2.5 Centuries - 6/5
Trump's win over Wilson included his 43rd century of the season to level at 2-2 before finishing the match in style with another three-figure break.
After failing to register a ton-plus visit against Robertson, he found his form with a couple of century breaks in his win over Higgins and four more in beating Zhang.
With the final a best-of-19 frame affair, he has plenty of chances for heavy scoring.
Trump's form suggests he can record three or more centuries and he will not shy away from putting on a show for the York crowd.
1st Frame Winner - Barry Hawkins - 6/5
While he is the clear underdog, Hawkins has made a habit of getting off to flying starts, winning the opening frame against Gilbert, Murphy and Allen.
Trump, meanwhile, initially struggled to settle against Wilson and may take a while to find his rhythm after having Saturday evening off.
By contrast, Hawkins' late finish could tell as the game wears on, but the adrenaline running through his veins can help him make a successful start and he can win the opening frame, albeit in a losing cause.
