Antoine Dupont is the captain of France's international rugby union team. He has registered 60 points for 'Les Bleus' across 42 appearances and has captained the side since the autumn of 2021.
Dupont was born in Lannemezan, however he grew up in Castelnau-Magnoac, a small commune with a population of under 1000 people - making his rise to stardom all the more impressive.
Dupont is 26 years old, he was born on 15th November 1996.
Dupont plays his domestic rugby for Toulouse, starring for the French side since 2017 when he joined from his first senior side, Castres.
The scrum-half has racked up 90 appearances for Toulouse, scoring 190 points in that time.
Dupont has spent his whole career playing as a scrum-half and he has already developed into one of the best to ever play in the position. At just 26 years old, there is still every chance he will develop even further.
Dupont also made his first foray outside of the number 9 spot when recently slotting in at fly-half for Toulouse. It's a move that has gotten rugby fans all over drooling over the possibilities of the player he could become.
Dupont scores the first try of the match during the Six Nations clash between France and Ireland, Stade de France, 1th February 2022.
A superstar both on and off the pitch, Dupont is a man of many talents.
The Frenchman featured on the front cover of GQ France last year, in an unexpected feature which took social media by storm.
It's not all just smashing tackles and good looks for Dupont though. Despite being one of the biggest talents in rugby, he used his time outside of training to study for a masters degree in Sports Management, graduating in 2019.
Dupont has scored 12 tries for France, half of which have come in the Six Nations - will it be more of the same in this year's competition?
Dupont has captained the national side since 2021, where he was initially drafted in as a temporary replacement through injury.
However, after guiding his side to their first Six Nations trophy, and Grand Slam, in over a decade, the superstar scrum-half has kept the role on a permanent basis.
