Sivenathi Nontshinga v Masamichi Yabuki Tips

Masamichi Yabuki - By KO / TKO @ 13/5
Masamichi Yabuki - To Win Fight @ 31/20
Fight To Go The Distance - No @ 8/13

Sivenathi Nontshinga and Masamichi Yabuki square off in Tokyo on Saturday morning in a bout between two big punchers with leaky defences.

The match-up sees Nontshinga make the first defence of his recently-regained IBF light-flyweight title, following his tenth round TKO revenge win over Mexico’s Adrian Curiel in February.

In the opposite corner, former WBC champion Yabuki has racked up three stoppage wins since surrendering his title to Kenshiro Teraji in March 2022.

Yabuki has a deceptive resume, with his four losses coming at a very high level and coming earlier in his career.

He possesses genuine fight-ending power in both hands and, while the same can be said of Nontshinga, I feel Yabuki will find the target clean and often enough to win by stoppage.

Neither man is known for their defensive ability and both can punch, so for the shorter odds players, 'Fight To Go The Distance - No' could prove a sound and sensible investment.
