Sheffield United v Wrexham Odds: Blades odds-on to win in 90 minutes

Here are the latest odds for the EFL Cup first-round tie between Sheffield United and Wrexham at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night.

The Blades enjoyed a comfortable start to Championship life when beating Preston 2-0 at Deepdale on Saturday, while Wrexham got their bid for three successive promotions off to a winning start, beating Wycombe 3-2.

While both clubs have bigger priorities, neither side would turn their nose up at a cup run; of course, Wrexham have reached the fourth round of the FA Cup in each of the last two seasons, and made a Wembley appearance in the final of the FA Trophy in 2022.

The two sides memorably met back in 2023. When Sheffield United were closing in on promotion, Wrexham were still in the National League, but came from 1-0 down to lead 3-2 in the 86th minute, only to be pegged back, forcing a replay. Even at Bramall Lane, the Dragons gave as good as they got, only going down in stoppage time to end their cup run.

With both sides prioritising their league campaigns, there will likely be a few changes made, but Sheffield United's summer signing Kieffer Moore is the shortest in the goalscorer betting, priced at 13/10 to score anytime.
