Serie A Saturday Accumulator: Atalanta and AC Milan included in 12/1 Italian treble

With just three games taking place in Serie A on Saturday, we have picked out a treble that works out at 12/1 to back in Italy's top-flight, which includes siding with second-placed AC Milan at Fiorentina in the late game.

We also expect a mid-table scrap between out-of-form Monza and Empoli to end all square, while Atalanta are taken to win against Udinese at home to keep their hopes of a top-four finish alive.

Saturday's Treble:

Our Serie A Treble selections are priced up at 12/1:

Monza v Empoli FT Draw @ 9/4
Atalanta To Win v Udinese @ 8/13
AC Milan To Win v Fiorentina @ 6/4
Odds were correct at time of writing and are subject to change.

Empoli can make their point at Monza

Two teams rooted in mid-table means it's a low-key start to Saturday's Serie A action at 14:00 as 11th-placed Monza entertain Empoli, who are two places and two points worse off.

Neither side are in good form - Monza have won two of their last five but have lost their last two matches coming into this clash - while Empoli are without a win in their last five, drawing three times and losing twice.

Empoli edged the early-season meeting at home 1-0 but, all things considered, sitting on the fence and backing the 9/4 draw in Full Time Result could be the way to go for the first part of this three-pronged acca.

Atalanta expected to see off Udinese

Atalanta's bid for a top-four finish has stalled recently as a run of just two wins from their last five Serie A games has left them sixth, four points behind currently fourth-placed Lazio.

However, they should have enough to see off an Udinese outfit who have failed to win any of their last five matches and sit down in 10th with no realistic prospect of making a late dash to finish in the European places.

With the home side's need apparently far greater and also considering La Dea have not lost any of the last 10 meetings between these two sides, winning seven and drawing three, this should be a fairly comfortable home win.

Atalanta are available to win at odds of 8/13 in Full Time Result in the second pick of this treble.

Third-placed AC Milan remain in a tight battle to finish second alongside city rivals Inter, who are just above them in the table, while Lazio, Roma and Atalanta are all also in the mix.

Stefano Pioli's side know any slip-ups at this stage of the campaign could be punished by others, but go to Florence this weekend looking to maintain their excellent recent form and secure a fifth straight win in all competitions.

However, it may not be that straightforward as La Viola are themselves on an unbeaten run of four games and could be tough to break down at home.

They have won three of those last four games, while they only lost 2-1 at the San Siro in the reverse fixture between the two sides earlier in the campaign as a result of a 90th-minute own goal from Nikola Milenkovic.

It's tempting to suggest this will end all square and it looks set to be tight at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, but the Rossoneri can edge it at decent odds of 6/4 in  the Full Time Result market to hopefully round off the treble.
