The managerial merry-go-round is in full flow in Italy as Inter confirm the appointment of Cristian Chivu from Parma.
Over the 2024/25 season, there were nine managerial changes with plenty more happening since the campaign finished.
Nine managers left their posts throughout the season, with Daniele De Rossi and Ivan Juric both sacked as Roma managers; Alberto Gilardino and Alessandro Nesta were removed from their positions at Genoa and Monza respectively, while Milan sacked Paola Fonseca halfway through the season, and Juventus parted ways with Thiago Motta in March.
Seemingly all of the big Serie A clubs are experiencing changes in the dugout heading into the summer; Milan sacked Sergio Conceicao, Claudio Ranieri retired leaving Roma looking for a new manager, Simone Inzaghi left Inter for Al-Hilal, Gian Piero Gasperini left Atalanta and Lazio parted ways with Marco Baroni.
Remarkably, one of the most expected managerial departures - Antonio Conte from Napoli - was one that never materialised, with the Italian opting to remain with the Scudetto winners.
Of the top eight teams in Serie A last season, only Juventus - who sacked their manager in March - and Napoli are yet to make a change in the dugout since the season finished.
