Scottish League Two: Format

Scottish League Two is a 10-team league, with each participating team playing each other on four occasions during the season - twice at home and twice away.

The team who finishes in 1st place achieves automatic promotion to League One as champions, with the team finishing in 10th engaging in a play-off final against the winners of a semi-final between the Lowland League and Highland League champions.

Promotion from League Two can also be achieved via play-offs, with the teams ranked second to fourth engaging in play-offs with the ninth-ranked team in League One.
