With major season approaching, we've priced up Scottie Scheffler at Evs to win a major in 2025.
Considering his total dominance of golf over the last 12-24 months, it seems hard to believe that Scheffler is yet to win any of the US Open, PGA Championship or The Open, though he does have two Green Jackets to his name following his 2022 and 2024 US Masters wins.
Since suffering a hand injury over Christmas that required surgery, we've not seen the best of Scheffler, and despite being below his best at the Genesis Invitational, he still finished in a tie for third.
Scheffler remains, by some distance, the best golfer in the world. He's long and straight off the tee, he's the world's best iron player, he has a superb short game, and even his putting - for a while his Achilles' heel - is vastly improved.
Even when one part of his game is lacking on any given day, another part is able to compensate for it.
Since reaching the PGA Tour, Scheffler has played in 18 majors and has more wins (two) than missed cuts (one) and has twice as many finishes inside the top 10 (12) as outside (six).
With such a complete game and a temperament that belies his age, it's hard not to see Scheffler contending on more than one occasion in 2025.
