Scotland will be out for revenge when they host Italy on the opening weekend of the 2025 Six Nations at Murrayfield.
Gregor Townsend's Scots succumbed to a disappointing 31-29 loss in Rome last year to end up finishing in fourth in the Six Nations table behind winners Ireland, France and England.
Only a win will do for Scotland in order to get their 2025 Six Nations campaign off to a positive start, but they are likely to face a tough test against an Italian side who have come on leaps and bounds under Argentine manager Gonzalo Quesada.
Scotland v Italy will be available to watch live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
Scotland v Italy will kick off at 14:15 GMT on Saturday 1st February at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh.
The last time Scotland and Italy faced each other was during the fourth round of last year's Six Nations, with the Azzurri picking up a memorable 31-29 victory at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Prior to last year's Six Nations, Scotland had gone 13 matches unbeaten against the Italians across eight years in a run dating between 2015 and 2023.
