The Perth Scorchers made it 10 wins from 12 BBL11 games as they defeated the Melbourne Stars with ease in Geelong on Tuesday afternoon.
The Scorchers are priced at 6/4 to win the Big Bash League and it looks as though they will take some stopping following another dominant display at GMHBA Stadium.
The Scorchers were at their best with the bat when making 3-196, which was a record BBL total at GMHBA, before restricting the Stars to just 9-149.
Opener Nick Hobson got Perth off to a great start with 46 runs off 36 balls but it was Laurie Evans and captain Ashton Turner who really piled on the runs.

Evans smashed 69 runs off 46 balls, helping himself to five sixes in the process while Turner hit an unbeaten 47 off 26 deliveries.
"We're playing some good cricket at the minute, it's a great team to be a part of, it makes my job as an overseas (player) a lot easier when you've got such amazing players around you," man of the match Evans told Fox Cricket.
"You don't really feel like you have to do too much. So it's nice to get going today, we're playing good cricket going into the best part of the tournament."
As well as Hobson impressing with the bat, Matthew Kelly shone with the ball when registering figures of 4-25 to be a constant thorn in the side of the Stars.
And Evans says they both deserve plenty of credit.
"(Hobson) is working incredibly hard in the nets to try and get a game and be ready at any point ... to be honest, he's probably hit the ball better than anyone in the squad in the nets," he said.
"Every game so far in the tournament, (Kelly has) been in and out of the side, and he turns up and he's almost our best bowler."
