Female British boxers Savannah Marshall and Chantelle Cameron have been added to the Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano 3 undercard.
IBF super-middleweight champion Savannah Marshall will clash with WBO title holder Shadasia Green in a unification bout on 11th July in New York.
Marshall v Green is undeniably a long-awaited bout, with the two having been scheduled to meet in the ring in 2023, before injury ruled Marshall out.
The Brit is disadvantaged by the fact she hasn’t stepped in the ring since 1st July 2023, nearing on two years of inactivity. In this time, Green has fought three times, most recently winning the WBO female super middleweight title against Melinda Watpool.
Marshall (13-1) and Green (15-1) share very similar records, while they respectively carry knockout power, combining for 21 knockout victories in their professional career.
Fellow female British boxer Chantelle Cameron will also make a return to the ring against Jessica Camara in a clash for the vacant WBC Interim super-lightweight title.
Cameron most recently defeated Patricia Berghult via unanimous decision in November 2024, while her opponent Camara was involved in a technical draw after clashing heads with Caroline Dubois, sister of IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois.
The event will be promoted by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, in which headliner Serrano signed a "life-time deal" with in March.
Paul’s investment into women’s boxing didn’t stop there however, as both Marshall and Cameron have signed deals with the promotional company.
In an event which is sure to impress at Madison Square Garden, Savannah Marshall and Jessica Cameron will undoubtedly want to put on a show and make Britain proud on the pinnacle of women's boxing.
