Sarina Wiegman has named her 23-player squad for the Women's Euros that begins in July.
One can imagine it's been quite the challenge for Sarina Wiegman to piece together her squad for England's Euros defence with a tumultuous few weeks leading up to Thursday's announcement.
Mary Earps was the first of two international retirements within a week with the goalkeeper recently losing her place in the starting XI to Hannah Hampton.
Fran Kirby then announced her retirement from England duty with immediate effect after revealing that she would not make the squad for what was supposed to be her final major tournament in an England shirt.
Strike three came when Millie Bright announced that she would be unavailable for the summer, saying that she was 'unable to give 100% mentally or physically'.
