New Ipswich Town signing Sammie Szmodics has been priced at 10/1 to hit 15 or more Premier League goals in the 2024/25 season.
The top goalscorer in the Championship for Blackburn Rovers last season with 27, Szmodics has been snapped up by newly promoted Ipswich for a fee of £9m.
The Tractor Boys will be hoping the 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international will be able to replicate his goalscoring exploits in the Premier League and help steer the club to top flight survival in 2024/25.
(Odds will display when markets are available).
Typically deployed as an attacking midfielder in a shadow striker role behind a main focal point up front for Blackburn last season, Szmodics was able to gather stunning goalscoring momentum to end up with the Championship golden boot award.
Diminutive in height at 5ft 6ins, Szmodics is a tremendously technically gifted footballer with terrific finishing ability with both feet.
Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna will likely look to set up his side in a way that allows Szmodics to be presented with as many chances as possible in the Premier League as the Tractor Boys prepare for top flight football for the first time in 22 years.
Szmodics is priced at 6/4 to be Ipswich's top goalscorer in the Premier League this term, and given odds of 100/1 to finish top of the standings in the whole division.
bet365's Steve Freeth said: "I wasn't sure that Szmodics would be able to continuing scoring goals in the Championship but he made a mockery of the three figure prices about him finishing top of the charts in what was a brilliant season for the ex-Peterborough man.
"It will be fascinating to see what Szmodics is capable of in the Premier League."
