The 2025 Ryder Cup is just months away, with players on both sides of the pond eyeing up places at Bethpage Black.

Europe made the unusual move of re-appointing Luke Donald as captain after their resounding success in Rome two years ago, and there's a significant change in format regarding the selection of players this time around.
Previously, Europe operated with two points lists, with points accrued on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, but that's changed now so that players are all ranked together on one list, with the top six players automatically qualifying.
LIV players are technically eligible to play for Europe so long as they remain members of the DP World Tour, which means the likes of Tyrrell Hatton and Jon Rahm should tee it up for Europe once again.
Rory McIlroy, Viktor Hovland, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry and Ludvig Aberg should all appear once again, leaving five spots available. Veteran Justin Rose will hope to make a sixth Ryder Cup appearance, while Sepp Straka's form in the US should see him return.
But the likelihood is, as is usually the case, the US team will have the stronger individuals. That, combined with playing on home soil, sees them favourites to reclaim the Ryder Cup.
The competition has only been won by an away team once in the last nine editions, and that was back in 2012 with the Miracle at Medinah.
