To say 2025 marked a dark time for Welsh rugby would be a considerable understatement.
Head coach Warren Gatland exited the job during a dismal Six Nations campaign, but Wales did officially end their worst run of form in their international rugby history in June, with a victory in the second Test of their tour of Japan marking their first win after 18 consecutive Test match defeats.
Since that victory, the Red Dragons have won just twice, against Japan (again) and Italy.
The Wales national rugby union team last won a Test match against Italy in Cardiff on 14th March 2026 - their first Six Nations win in over three years.
