New Zealand legend Dan Carter is far and away the top points scorer in the history of international rugby union, accumulating a total of 1,598 in 112 caps for the All Blacks.
In second place is Englishman Owen Farrell, who overtook compatriot Jonny Wilkinson in third with a successful penalty against Samoa at the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.
The top five is completed by Irish duo Johnny Sexton and Ronan O'Gara along with former Wales fly-half Neil Jenkins.
