The autumn internationals start for two of the home nations this weekend and England undoubtedly have the trickiest test as they host world number three side New Zealand at Twickenham on Saturday.
The Red Rose have not played a competitive fixture since their two meetings with All Blacks in Dunedin and Auckland back in July and Steve Borthwick will be hoping for a better outcome after losses in both of these fixtures.
New Zealand may have come out on top in the summer, but their performances in the recent Rugby Championship left a lot to be desired and this could be the perfect time for England to get one over Scott Robertson’s side.
England to win @ 8/5
With the Premiership well underway for another season, England’s squad will be match ready and, despite being the underdogs in the match result markets, they could make home advantage count in this contest.
The Red Rose have each of their last two matches at Twickenham - both in the Six Nations - against Wales (16-14) and eventual winners Ireland (23-22).
New Zealand are currently on a three-match winning streak, but these victories have come twice against an Australia side who finished rock-bottom of the Rugby Championship standings - losing five of their six matches - and, most recently, Japan who have not registered a victory against a Tier 1 nation since 2019.
The All Blacks failed to provide much of a defence of their Rugby Championship crown as they lost three of their six matches - including a 38-30 home defeat to Argentina in what was one of the shocks of the tournament.
Therefore, they could struggle against a fitter England side searching for revenge from the summer.
Immanuel Feyi-Waboso to score a try anytime @ 11/5
While England’s scrum has plenty of experience to call upon - five of the eight starters have over 40 caps for their country - the backs are relatively new to the international game.
However, there is plenty of quality within this inexperienced backline and one player who can make his mark on the contest is Exeter Chiefs winger Immanuel Feyi-Waboso.
Saturday will be his seventh appearance for England and he has already scored four tries for the Red Rose since making his debut in this year’s Six Nations.
The 21-year-old got over the line in each of the two summer meetings with New Zealand and so can call upon his past individual success against the All Blacks defence to score his fifth international try on Saturday.
Mark Tele'a to score a try anytime @ 6/4
New Zealand are known for their attacking qualities, with the All Blacks scoring 128 points across their last three fixtures.
While they may be restricted to a more modest total at Twickenham, they will be expected to get over the tryline at least once at the weekend and winger Mark Tele'a may be the man they look to.
The 27-year-old also scored two tries across the summer meetings with England and he has managed 50 points from 16 appearances for the All Blacks.
Should the backs find some joy in this contest, Tele'a could well be the one to capitalise for the visitors.
