Home advantage should prove decisive on Tuesday as Wigan Warriors try to move to the top of the Super League table when they host Leigh Leopards.
The Warriors are level on points with Hull Kingston Rovers, with both teams picking up 30 points so far, while Leigh can reduce the gap to the play-off places with a win.
Tuesday's tie will take place after the original fixture from Round 2 was rearranged to allow Wigan Warriors to compete in the World Club Challenge, which they won 16-12 against Penrith Panthers.
Wigan Warriors 1-12 points - 7/4
Since winning the World Club Challenge in February, Wigan fans have had this game earmarked on their calendars.
The Warriors have been playing catch-up for the majority of the campaign, but Matty Peet's side have handled the pressure.
Peet's side have handled every hurdle in their path, winning the World Club Challenge and Challenge Cup already this season.
While the pressure could have got to the Cherry and Whites, they have chipped away and can now move clear at the top of the table with a win.
Home advantage will be crucial for them, with Warriors only losing once at The Brick Community Stadium all season.
They have only lost two games since the end of April and, while those defeats came at the end of July, they had injury woes to contend with.
Jai Field's return to fitness will help them rediscover their mojo, but Leigh will be a tough nut to crack. The Leopards have lost eight consecutive games against Wigan, but they have won four in a row in Super League.
Leigh lost by 18 points when the two teams last met in July, but the added fixture in an already busy schedule may level the playing field a little.
Wigan should have too much for their visitors on Tuesday night, but they will not blow their opponents away.
Under 38.5 points - 10/11
While Wigan and Leigh last played on Thursday, the short turnaround is not ideal for such a physical sport.
Wigan will want to win by any means necessary, as a victory puts them in pole position to win the League Leaders' Shield.
Without the likes of Bevan French and Mike Cooper, Wigan have struggled to build a strong platform in the middle of the park, and their results have reflected this.
Their win over Huddersfield was the first time they have scored more than 24 points since they beat Leigh 24-6 in July, while they have only scored more than 30 points in one of their previous nine in Super League.
Leigh have not ripped up any trees on the road as well, scoring 20 points or more in just three away games this season.
Liam Marshall to score a try anytime - 21/20
Wigan's squad depth has got them out of trouble on many occasions this season, but the performances of winger Marshall have also helped them on their way.
Marshall has scored 20 tries already this season, and he has averaged 1.11 tries per game. The 28-year-old has scored in Wigan's previous two games against Leigh this season, while he has scored three tries in Wigan's last three Super League matches.
Leigh will do well to keep him quiet, and with a close game expected, Wigan will look for some inspiration from their talisman out wide.
