Royal Ascot Going Report: Latest conditions and weather update

Here are the latest going updates for the first day of Royal Ascot on Tuesday 16th June.

We're all set for one of the highlights of the flat racing calendar and it looks like we will have a warm, dry day to kickstart the week.

There may be some intermittent showers later in the week but in the main we are set fair for a bright week at Royal Ascot.

Sunshine is forecast for the majority of the day and the temperature is likely to peak at around 24 degrees.

The course has been watered lightly overnight and the ground conditions look favourable.
