Finishing runner-up to Notable Speech in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket in April, Rosallion went one better at the Curragh after narrowly running down stablemate Haatem to land a second Group 1 success.
Sean Levey took the ride of Rosallion, who displayed a swift turn of foot to win the race by a head and secure a one-two for Hannon.
The result sets up a fascinating St James's Palace Stakes, with Rosallion set to rematch the Charlie Appleby-trained Notable Speech, who is the 6/4 favourite.
Speaking to Racing TV, Hannon said: "Rosallion has always been a little bit special and we built him up quite a lot, so it's lovely to see him win a Classic.
"Both horses ran the races of their lives. Rosallion will go to Ascot now and it'll be a great race for everybody. Haatem's day will come too."
River Tiber took third and is now 6/1 in the Commonwealth Cup market.
