Still officially a Chelsea player, despite last appearing for the club in May 2022, Lukaku looks set to be on the move again this summer following two seasons on loan at Inter and Roma respectively.
A popular figure at Inter, scoring 24 Serie A goals as the Nerazzurri won the Scudetto in 2020/21 under Antonio Conte, Lukaku could be primed to follow his former boss and relocate to Naples.
Conte was unveiled as Napoli's new manager in June and the 54-year-old is eager to reinforce his squad, particularly in attack. Rumours of a swap deal involving Victor Osimhen for Lukaku were murmured, though reports suggest that Napoli have no interest in entertaining such an offer.
Despite his association with Inter, a move across the city to arch-rivals Milan could also be on Lukaku's agenda. With Paulo Fonseca replacing Stefano Pioli as Milan manager ahead of the 2024/25 season, reports suggest the Rossoneri have earmarked Lukaku as a key transfer target ahead of the new campaign.
Boasting a phenomenal goal record at international level for Belgium, 31-year-old Lukaku has also been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.
