Romania v Ukraine odds: Ukraine 9/10 to win Group E opener

Ukraine are the 9/10 favourites to win their opening Euro 2024 fixture against Romania in Munich.

Serhiy Rebrov's men will be hopeful of progressing through a group which also contains Slovakia and Belgium, and they are odds-on to get off to a winning start.

In striker Artem Dovbyk, they have La Liga's top goalscorer from last season after he netted 24 times to help Girona secure qualification for next year's Champions League. At odds of 9/2, Dovbyk is the favourite to be top goalscorer in the Romania v Ukraine fixture on Monday afternoon.

Romania are a big price at 10/3 to win their opening game of the tournament and they will be buoyed by their unbeaten qualifying campaign, which saw them top the group ahead of regular qualifiers Switzerland.

However, they netted just 16 times in those 10 games and they could employ a pragmatic approach this summer. We make it 4/6 for there to be under 2.5 goals in Munich.
