Sun may set on Mullins' hopes
Willie Mullins' record in the Ascot Stakes (17:00) means his reliance on Bring On The Night is significant, but there are no major indications he is particularly well handicapped. He is a favourite to take on in a race you can watch, along with each and every other contest as part of our Sports Live Streaming.
Top-class juvenile hurdler Pied Piper also looks quite short considering his best performance on the Flat came over 1m2f. He needs to stay that trip twice here and is a speedy sort.
ARCADIAN SUNRISE is the advised each-way bet. The John Queally-trained eight-year-old has few miles on the clock for his age and caught the eye making decent late headway in the Chester Cup last time on his first run since October.
He runs off the same mark and an improved showing is expected under top 5lb claimer Harry Davies. A few of these have stamina doubts and Arcadian Sunrise has no worries on that score.
Cadillac heading in the right direction
The Wolferton Stakes (17:35) is about as competitive a Listed race as you are likely to see, with just 2lb separating the top ten runners in the field.
It is difficult to rule any out with absolute confidence, but it is also difficult to envisage CADILLAC out of the frame. He is the horse on the upgrade and worth backing each-way with the generous place terms on offer.
Jessica Harrington's improving four-year-old produced a career-best effort in first-time blinkers at Leopardstown last time and that aid is retained.
A Group 2 winner at two, Cadillac appears to have been laid out for the race and this 1m2f trip on fast ground will be perfect for him. Harrington knows what it takes to score at Royal Ascot and Cadillac can add to her haul.

Value with O'Brien the Younger
Chester Cup winner Cleveland is Group 1-entered later in the season and should be competitive off a 5lb higher mark in the concluding Copper Horse Stakes (18:10).
Aidan O'Brien was considering a Gold Cup tilt with Cleveland and he is the right favourite. However, OKITA SOUSHI looks the each-way play for Joseph O'Brien.
Okita Soushi returned to the track after 303 days off in the 1m4f Listed Orby Stakes at the Curragh in May and his staying-on second to Raise You indicated he would relish an extra two furlongs.
That was only the third run of his life and he is open to slightly more progression than Cleveland, who has run five times.
The pair recorded identical Racing Post Ratings of 111 on their previous runs and the value may lie with the latter, who is entered in the Irish St Leger later in the season and should have plenty more in the locker.
