Fresh tough to beat at happiest hunting ground

The Wokingham is as wide open as ever but course form is crucial on the straight track at Ascot and the stars could be aligning for Fresh, who has form figures of 4321 in fields of 16 or more on the straight course.

There are few apprentices who are better value for their 5lb allowance than Benoit de la Sayette and the pair can strike on the big stage.

Falcon can soar clear in finale

The weather gods are not smiling on Trueshan and he surely won't run in the Queen Alexandra Stakes. Assuming he doesn’t take his chance, there definitely shouldn't be as much as there is in the early betting between Wordsworth and Falcon Eight.
