Brisbane Broncos captain Adam Reynolds is confident Payne Haas will give his all despite being involved in a contract stand-off with the club.
The Broncos are flying this season and are priced at 1/6 to finish in the top eight. However a dispute has emerged between the player and club and could threaten to derail the season.
The 22-year-old is seeking an upgrade on his current contract which still has a couple of years to run. However the Broncos are not playing ball.
That has lead to Haas requesting an immediate release from the contract. Something that is not going to happen. The Broncos are standing form.

Haas has confirmed he will play for the Broncos against the Gold Coast on Friday night and Reynolds expects the player to give his all.
"I've spoken to Payne and he's assured us that he's playing and he's a professional and I know he'll do his job," Reynolds told
Triple M. "But obviously it's not the news you want to hear for someone who is an important part of your team, and fingers crossed that things get solved and that he's at the Broncos for a very long time to come."
Haas signed a lengthy deal with the Broncos and Reynolds suggests maybe that is not the best idea for youngsters who quickly become stars of the game.
"The rise of these kids these days, they go from being 20-years-old fringe first-graders to superstars of the game and they outgrow their contract pretty quick,” Reynolds added.
"Payne is a great player who probably signed for a lot less than what he's worth. That's the risk you take with long-term contracts."
