Adelaide United midfielder Juande says the Reds are in a good position as they look to finish the 2021/22 A-League season strongly.
The Reds are priced at 2/5 to finish in the top six of the A-League this season and look sure to play finals football on current form.
Following Sunday's hard-fought 2-1 win over Perth Glory in WA, the Reds are sitting pretty in third place on the A-League ladder.
The two teams directly below them Macarthur FC and Melbourne Victory do have games in hand, but it is all about having points in the bag, and that is what Adelaide have.
Veart relieved at late fightback
Juande put in an impressive performance at HBF Park and says the whole squad are looking good as the business end of the season fast approaches.
"Now we recovered a couple of players, and start to play more time together – the important players – I think it’s a good moment for us to start growing slowly, slowly and I think we’re in a good position," Juande told the club's website.
Adelaide had to work hard for the win and have not had the best record in Perth over the last few years. However Juande says they fully deserved the three points on this occasion.
"We did a good game, the game we had to do," said Juande, who was named man-of-the-match. "I’m so happy to bring the three points home.
"I think the season every team can beat every team. So we have this mentality, this winning mentality, so we come here to win and in the end we deserved to win."
