Manuel Pellegrini's side only reached the Last 16 of the UEFA Champions League as well, with the Spanish giants bowing out to Lyon.
Legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas played the most matches for Real Madrid during the 2009/10 season with a total of 46 appearances in all competitions.
Defender Raul Albiol made 42 appearances during the campaign, while midfielder Xabi Alonso featured 41 times.
The top five is completed by left-back Marcelo and centre-back Sergio Ramos, while Ronaldo is ninth on the list.
