Union Berlin on the other hand, got off to a stuttering start, rescuing a 1-1 draw away at Mainz on the opening day. Their second fixture, at home to newly promoted St Pauli, saw them return to winning ways, finishing 1-0 thanks to Benedict Hollerbach's 34th minute goal.

Captain Willi Orban remains suspended for the home side following his straight red card against Bochum on the opening day of the season.
Xaver Schlager and Assan Ouedraogo are both still sidelined with knee injuries, though the latter could make a return to action towards the end of September.
Talisman Kevin Volland is set to miss this fixture with a knee issue, while full back Josip Juranovic also misses out with an ankle injury, both could return for Die Eisernen next month.
Bo Svensson will also be without goalkeeper Yannic Stein and forward Ivan Prtajin for the trip to Leipzig this weekend.
