Rangers v Dynamo Kyiv Odds: Dessers 5/1 to net first in Mount Florida

After grabbing a vital last gasp equaliser in last week's first-leg 1-1 draw in Lublin, Rangers will look to finish the job against Dynamo Kyiv in the second-leg of their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie at Hampden Park.

A draw away from home in the first-leg puts Rangers in a commanding position in the tie, although the Gers are currently being forced to play their home fixtures away from their typical venue of Ibrox Stadium due to renovation work.

Scotland's national stadium Hampden Park is their temporary home, with the Gers victorious in their first outing at the venue in a 2-1 triumph over Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend.

Philippe Clement's side will now turn their attention to toppling Dynamo to take their place in the play-off round of the UEFA Champions League, where they would face either Red Bull Salzburg or FC Twente.

Rangers v Dynamo Kyiv Odds

Bagging a pivotal 94th-minute leveller in Lublin, Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers has arguably been the Govan giants' best performer in what has been a disappointing start to the season.

A winless pre-season campaign raised alarm bells amongst the club's supporters, with a goalless draw away to Hearts in the Scottish Premiership curtain raiser doing little to silence detractors.

Last week's draw in Lublin and 2-1 victory at home to Motherwell have stabilised matters somewhat, with Nigerian hitman Dessers on target in both of these matches.

The ex-Feyenoord striker is priced at 11/2 to continue his encouraging form by scoring the first goal at Hampden as Rangers take on Dynamo Kyiv.

The Ukrainians did test the Rangers rearguard in Poland last week, and an unsteady defensive performance from the Gers against Motherwell may bode well for Dynamo in the second-leg of this crucial UEFA Champions League clash.

You can get odds of 8/13 for Both Teams to Score at Scotland's national stadium.

Although not blessed with the backing of an always vociferous partisan Ibrox crowd, Rangers should still enter this second-leg clash confident of securing a safe passage through to the play-off round of Europe's premier club competition.

The Gers were able to create plenty of chances in Lublin last week, and you can get odds of 12/5 for Rangers to lead this match at both half-time and full-time.
