Rangers are reportedly in talks to sign Samuel Ballet from Como - but they face stiff competition from all over Europe.
Ballet - who has received caps for Switzerland's youth teams - signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Como in the summer of 2023 following a €1.2m switch from FC Winterthur.
He spent last season on loan at FC Zurich where he scored three goals in 15 Swiss Super League starts.
His performances were enough to impress the Zurich hierarchy as the club pursue their interest in another loan spell for 2025/26.
This is unlikely, however, as Como are looking for a more permanent solution to the winger's future.
Ballet doesn't appear to be in Cesc Fabregas' plans ahead of the new season but the 24-year-old is not short of suitors with clubs all over Europe reportedly showing an interest.
Norwich and Trabzonspor are two sides ready to battle it out with Rangers to secure the signature of the former Young Boys player.

Ballet is predominantly a right winger but has been used as a striker on occasions.
Extremely capable in one-on-one situations, he is a very adept dribbler, often looking to take the ball past a full back.
Not only is the 24-year-old technically good, his strength is vital to the way he plays, using his body to bypass defenders.
Should Rangers bring him to Ibrox he is likely to be used as a replacement for Hamza Igamane who is set to join Lille in the coming weeks.
New Gers boss Russell Martin has already been active in the transfer market, bringing in Max Aarons on loan from Bournemouth.
The 25-year-old full back spent the second half the season with Valencia where he made just one start as the Spanish side recorded a 12th placed La Liga finish under Carlos Corberan.
