Rajasthan Royals 11/4 to win the IPL after Jos Buttler century

Rajasthan Royals are the 11/4 favourites to win the 2024 Indian Premier League after their thrilling final-ball victory against Kolkata Knight Riders.

The inaugural winners of the IPL are top of this year's standings after winning six of their opening seven fixtures.

Their victory at Eden Gardens was one of the most dramatic of the campaign so far and has given supporters cause for optimism that they can pick up an elusive second title in May.

The Royals were chasing 224 for victory after Kolkata Knight Riders posted an imposing 223-6 from their 20 overs, with West Indies all-rounder Sunal Narine scoring a sublime century.

England limited overs captain Jos Buttler opened the batting for Rajasthan Royals alongside rising Indian star Yashasvi Jaiswal, and it was the brilliance of Buttler who guided his side to victory.

Buttler struck nine fours and six sixes in his unbeaten 107 and he scored the necessary single from the final ball to complete a sensational two-wicket victory.

Rajasthan Royals are next in action on Monday when they entertain five-time champions Mumbai Indians.
