The runners and riders have been confirmed for the Coronation Stakes on Friday 21st June.
There are 10 confirmed runners for the 2024 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Opera Singer
This Justify filly signed off last season with wide-margin Group 1 success in the Prix Marcel Boussac at Longchamp.
Engaged in front-running duties alongside eventual winner Fallen Angel in the Irish 1000 Guineas in last month's comeback, fading to third in the end, and should be sharper for that effort.
Elmalka
Southwell debut winner in November and ran third in the Fred Darling at Newbury (7f, good to soft) in April before a shock 28/1 success in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket (1m, good) soon after.
She came sweeping through from the rear for that Classic success and the Kingman filly is entitled to come on plenty for that on just her third start. A stiff mile here looks set to suit.
Ramatuelle
French-trained daughter of Justify has won 3-7 starts and just missed out on Prix Morny glory over 6f last season.
Run down late on in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket last month by Elmalka and Porta Fortuna, but that still ranks as an excellent first effort at this mile trip.
Porta Fortuna
Won the Cheveley Park last season and another massive showing from the Caravaggio filly when second in the 1000 Guineas back at Headquarters last month on seasonal bow, splitting Elmalka and Ramatuelle in a three-day dive for the line.
Right in the mix on form and this stiffer track might suit.
Devoted Queen
Kingman filly has only run three times and has won them all, most recently when making the step up into Listed company over a mile at York last month.
This is tougher, but she did that fairly readily and there should be more to come.
Rouhiya
Daughter of Lope De Vega was beaten favourite on seasonal bow at Longchamp in April, but has since bounced right to win the French 1000 Guineas at the same track, bursting through rivals late on to score.
Likely quicker surface to contend with now, but she's another with scope for much better.
