Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions have bolstered their roster with the signings of two Brazilian amateur boxing stars.
In a statement shared on social media on Friday, Queensberry announced that Luiz Gabriel Oliveira and Yuri Falcao have signed with the promotional company ahead of a move into the professional ranks.
Hailing from Sao Caetano do Sul, Oliveira holds a distinguished amateur record and is currently ranked as the fourth best amateur lightweight in the world by BoxRec.
In 2025 he reached the final of the championships in Liverpool before ultimately losing to Uzbekistan's Olympic gold medallist Abdumalik Khalokov after the bout was sent to the judges early following an unintentional clash of heads.
Like his countryman and stablemate Falcao will enter the pro game with an extensive amateur background.
The 23-year-old southpaw is a multi-time national champion in his homeland and won a bronze medal at the 2023 Pan American Games.
His biggest accomplishment however came at last year's world championships, as took silver in the 65kg division, after claiming four wins in the space of a week.
In the semi finals he defeated the reigning Olympic champion Erislandy Alvarez, marking the Cuban's first defeat in over a year.
No date has yet been announced as to when Oliveira and Falcao will make their pro debuts, but it is expected both will look to have their maiden bouts sometime this year.
