QPR v West Brom Odds: Baggies 7/4 for opening day win

We have priced up West Bromwich Albion at 7/4 to win their opening game of the 2024/25 Championship season against Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon.

West Brom were losing semi-finalists in the Championship play-offs last season and despite a summer of change in the Midlands, Carlos Corberan will be hopeful of launching another promotion bid.

They travel to London to face a QPR side who produced a stunning run of form in the new year to move away from the relegation zone, and Marti Cifuentes' side are 6/4 to take all three points on the opening day of the season.

West Brom's Josh Maja and QPR striker Michael Frey are amongst the favourites to score the first goal at Loftus Road and both players can be backed at 13/2.

Last season's meeting in London saw the teams share the spoils in a 2-2 draw, and we are 14/1 for a repeat scoreline this weekend.
