West Brom are unbeaten in their last four meetings with QPR and they have only lost one of the last 10 matches.
The Baggies secured a 2-0 home win last October before coming away from Loftus Road with a 2-2 draw in March.
The two sides were last in the Premier League at the same time during the 2014-2015 season, when QPR did the double over their opponents.

Ilias Chair, who was the club's top goalscorer last season, is a doubt for the opening game of the season due to a back injury.
Scotland international Lyndon Dykes could also miss out as he continues to recover from an ankle ligament injury which kept him out of Euro 2024.
New signings Devante Cole and Paddy McNair may need more fitness work before being considered fit to start, however they are in contention for a place in the squad.
Jed Wallace is struggling to overcome an adductor injury which has hindered his pre-season, while Grady Diangana is expected to miss the first month of the season.
