Asian Cup champions Qatar host the United Arab Emirates as both teams aim for qualification for the 2026 World Cup in North America.
Qatar have won the last two editions of the Asian Cup and finished undefeated at top of their group in second stage qualification. The Gulf state also participated in the last World Cup as the host nation, losing all three of their group stage matches.
The UAE also finished top of their group in the previous stage of World Cup qualifying, going unbeaten and winning five of their six group stage matches.
