After signing from Ligue 1 rivals Monaco for a fee in the region of £166m in 2017, Mbappe struck an outstanding 42 goals in 64 games for Les Parisiens in the UEFA Champions League.

• Edinson Cavani

Number two in the standings is Uruguayan hitman Edinson Cavani who was a popular figure in the French capital, representing PSG for seven years between 2013 and 2020.

'El Matador' was able to net 30 goals in 54 UEFA Champions League appearances for PSG.

Up next it is the dazzling talent that is Neymar Jr, who despite struggling with injuries throughout his six-year stay at PSG, was still able to shine on the UEFA Champions League stage for the club.

From one global superstar to another, Zlatan Ibrahimovic proved a huge hit at PSG after signing from Milan in 2012.

A UEFA Champions League winner with Real Madrid in 2014, Angel Di Maria enjoyed seven years at PSG between 2015 and 2022.

During this seven-year period, the Argentine World Cup winner registered 14 goals in 54 UEFA Champions League games for the club.

Although the great Lionel Messi was unable to truly replicate the heights he achieved at Barcelona following his move to PSG in 2021, he was still able to make an impact on the UEFA Champions League stage.

The magisterial Messi registered nine goals in 14 UEFA Champions League matches for the French giants.

• Marquinhos

The only defender to make up this list, Brazilian Marquinhos has been a terrific servant to PSG since arriving from Roma in 2013.

Marquinhos has scored nine UEFA Champions League goals for PSG in this time, including in the quarter-finals and semi-finals against Atalanta and RB Leipzig respectively in 2019/20 as the French side reached their first final in the competition before losing to Bayern Munich.

• Ousmane Dembele

Two-footed winger Ousmane Dembele arrives at number eight on this list of PSG's top UEFA Champions League goalscorers.

Although France international Dembele has at times frustrated during his time at PSG, the ex-Barcelona man appears to be taking his game to a new level under the management of Luis Enrique at the Parc des Princes.

• George Weah

Number nine in the standings is a former Ballon d'Or winner in the form of Liberian George Weah.

Weah joined PSG from Monaco in 1992 and went on to record seven goals in 10 UEFA Champions League games for the club.

• Ezequiel Lavezzi

Joining compatriots Angel Di Maria and Lionel Messi on this list is former PSG winger Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Snapped up from Napoli in 2012, Argentine Lavezzi mustered seven UEFA Champions League goals in 31 appearances for PSG.
