Cloud9 have eliminated Golden Guardians from the LCS Spring Split 2022 playoffs, advancing to the second round of the lower bracket in the process.
In the LCS Spring Playoffs, Evil Geniuses can be backed at 1/6 to beat FlyQuest, who are 7/2 to prevail.
Cloud9 were among the standout teams in the LCS Spring Split 2022 regular standings, placing second behind Team Liquid and consequently qualifying for the upper bracket.
However, they were knocked into the lower bracket after a 3-0 defeat to 100 Thieves.

But they responded to that loss with a victory of the same scoreline against Golden Guardians in their first match in the lower bracket and will progress to the next stage.
As for Golden Guardians, their postseason is now over and they will be looking towards the LCS Summer Split taking place later this year.
Cloud9 must now compete in the second round of the lower brackets and, should they win that contest, they will have one more match to play before potentially reaching the finals.
Before the series, Cloud9 made the call to drop Kim "Winsome" Dong-keon and promote Academy talent Jonah "Isles" Rosario to the starting roster and the move paid dividends.
"Isles" was one of his team's best players on his LCS debut and will surely be a key player as they continue their Spring Split postseason campaign.
Following their exit, Golden Guardians wrote on Twitter: "We fall to @C9LoL and that's the end of our playoffs run.
"We're proud of the team and the progress we've made this split. Thank you to all our fans for the support!"
