The unbeaten Look De Vega was mightily impressive when winning the Prix du Jockey Club for Carlos and Yann Lerner, with the three-year-old subsequently installed as the favourite for the prestigious race.

Aidan O'Brien is a two-time winner of the Arc and he will be looking to make it a hat-trick of wins with one of his stable stars, Opera Singer.

The impressive filly enjoyed success in the Prix Marcel Boussac at the end of last season and after near misses in the Irish 1,000 Guineas and the Coronation Stakes, she returned to the winners' circle with a fine display in the Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.

Jean-Claude Rouget was the winning trainer in last year's race as Ace Impact took the honours and he will be looking for back-to-back successes with Delius, who was third in the Grand Prix de Paris last time out.

The victor on that occasion was Sosie, who provides Andre Fabre with his best chance to secure a record-breaking ninth victory in the famous race.
