We have priced up Auguste Rodin as the favourite to win the Group 1 Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot on Wednesday afternoon.
(Odds will display when the market is available)
10 runners will go to post for the headline event on Day Two and the Aidan O'Brien superstar is currently at the top of the betting.
Last year saw Auguste Rodin take the honours in some of the biggest races as he triumphed in the English and Irish Derby, before winning the Irish Champion Stakes over at Leopardstown and the prestigious Breeders' Cup Turf at Santa Anita.
Scattered amongst the brilliance were a couple of outings where he simply didn't turn up, finishing 12th in the 2000 Guineas and last of 10 in the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot later in the summer.
This year saw him return with a lacklustre display when finishing last in the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan, before being beaten by White Birch in the Tattersalls Gold Cup last month.
At his best, he is capable of blowing away the field at Royal Ascot today but if the inconsistencies return then multiple Group 1 winner Inspiral could be the possible beneficiary.
Other contenders include Horizon Dore, who was second in the Prix d'Ispahan last time out, and eight-year-old Lord North, who could roll back the years.
