Ex-Rangers forward Robbie Ure is a wanted man across Europe this summer.
The 22-year-old has made a fine start to the season with Swedish side Sirius, so much so that he was the subject of a £3.5m bid from Serie A outfit Lecce.
According to reports in The Herald, the bid was promptly rejected and the Allsvenskan pace-setters will not part with their prize asset for less than £8.5m, amid a queue of suitors from top European leagues.
Ure, courtesy of a brace against Elfsborg at the weekend, has now netted 14 goals in just 13 league games this season.
His impressive haul includes four goals against Mjallby at the beginning of June and the Scotsman is the driving force behind Sirius' impressive bid to land their first Swedish top division title in 112 years.
However, numerous clubs from all over the continent are eyeing a move for Ure this window. Chief amongst these are Turkish outfit Trabzonspor, who have reportedly made an enquiry.
French clubs Lyon and Nice are also rumoured to be interested in Ure, as well as Bundesliga side Hoffenheim, who can offer Europa League football next season.
Born in Glasgow, the prolific centre-forward came through the Rangers academy before scoring on his senior debut against Queen of the South in a Scottish League Cup fixture. Despite a promising start, Ure would only play twice more for his boyhood club before securing a move away from Ibrox to Belgian side Anderlecht.
Playing predominantly for their reserve side, his goal record would earn him a move to Sirius where he gone from strength to strength.
Yet to be capped at senior level by Scotland, Ure played five times for the U19s and is also eligible to play for the Ukraine through his grandfather.
