Often billed as the 'richest game in football', find out the previous 10 different winners of the Championship play-off final (excluding 2024/25).

Rewinding back to 2014, Bobby Zamora's famous winner clinched promotion for QPR as they overcame Derby County 1-0 at Wembley.

A year later and it was the turn of Norwich City, who scored two quickfire goals courtesy of Cameron Jerome and Nathan Redmond to conquer Middlesbrough.

Mohamed Diame's strike was enough to secure Hull City's place in the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in 2016, before Huddersfield Town overcame Reading on penalties in 2017 to reach the top-flight for the first time since 1972.

Fulham got the better of Aston Villa in 2018 thanks to Tom Cairney's first half goal but the Villans avenged their play-off final heartbreak by toppling Derby County in the following year.

The next two Championship play-off finals belonged to west London as Fulham and Brentford won promotion in 2020 and 2021 respectively.

Then it was the turn of Nottingham Forest in 2022, who ended their 23-year absence from the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town.

Luton Town reached the Premier League for the first time in their history when they defeated Coventry City in the 2023 final before Southampton triumphed under the Wembley arch in 2024 as Adam Armstrong's goal proved to be the difference against Leeds United.
