Trainer Justin Prentice has confirmed Mighty Ronaldo will not be contesting the TAB Constellations later in the year as the logistics do not work out.
Mighty Ronaldo was being touted as a possibility to race in the AQWA Constructions Rising Sun at Albion Park on 9th July.
This was after an impressive show in the Australian Pacing Gold 4yo Final at Menangle.
On that occasion he finished third behind Beyond Delight who will be racing in the Rising Sun. However a re-match will not be on the cards according to Prentice.
Prentice did weigh up the possibility. However Mighty Ronaldo will return to Perth instead and will target some local feature races.

Tough Love out to achieve big double
“We weighed up all our options and it was a difficult decision, but we’ve decided to bring him back home and we’ll focus on our four-year-old features,” Prentice told reporters.
“I went right through the carnival program and there was plenty of options including the Redcliffe Cup followed by all the Albion Park classic races but logistically, it was a tough campaign ahead.”
One horse who is ready for a crack at the Rising Sun is Bettor Isolate. The four-year impressed at Hamilton on Monday and horseman Mattie Craven believes his charge should be in the mix.
“I think he’s good enough to have a crack at a race like the Rising Sun, he’s got wicked speed and there’s still plenty of upside so I’m hoping he can squeeze into the field because I think he could really surprise a few people.” Craven said.
