We recall every top-flight winner since the inaugural Premier League campaign in 1992/93 as Manchester City bid to make it an unprecedented five in a row.
Pep Guardiola's side flexed their muscles once more in 2023/24 to edge Arsenal to the top-flight crown, and they appear to be the side to beat again this time around as they chase a record-breaking fifth consecutive league title.
The Citizens are one of just seven clubs to have been crowned English champions since the formation of the Premier League 32 years ago, with the city of Manchester largely establishing itself as the top-flight's title stronghold.
Manchester United, under Sir Alex Ferguson, were the inaugural Premier League champions in 1993, ending a 26-year wait for a top-flight crown, and went on to be crowned champions a further seven times over the next decade with only Arsenal and Blackburn Rovers temporarily halting their domestic dominance.
In more recent times it's been United's noisy neighbours, Manchester City, who have dominated the domestic scene however, securing top spot in six of the last seven campaigns, including each of the last four.
Chelsea, Liverpool and, of course, Leicester City, have also tasted Premier League success during the past 10 years, but it's in Manchester where the coveted crown has found its adopted home, having been captured by United or City in 21 of the 32 Premier League campaigns to date.
