We’re only three games into the new season and Erling Haaland has seven goals to his name, being cut to 1/5 in the Top Goalscorer market.
As such, bet365 have opened a Betting Without Haaland market, where Mohamed Salah is 9/2 favourite.
bet365's Steve Freeth said: "Market leader Salah looks like a player who has benefitted greatly from a rest over the summer and he must wish he could play at Old Trafford every week.
"Cole Palmer was a 33/1 shot to win this market in mid-March when he was one behind Alexander Isak, four behind Dominic Solanke, five behind Mohamed Salah and six behind Ollie Watkins, but surged past them all with 12 goals in his final 11 games."
Salah has enjoyed an excellent start to the season, registering three assists and scoring a goal in all three of Liverpool’s first three matches, yet he’s four behind Haaland and the Norwegian is already looking impossible to catch.
The Without Haaland market is much more competitive, however, with Alexander Isak (10/1) opening his account on Sunday, while Son Heung-min (14/1) and Kai Havertz (14/1) are both on two goals so far.
Ollie Watkins is 14/1 alongside Havertz, and despite a quiet start to the season where he’s managed just four shots, the Aston Villa man looks to be suffering with a slight Euros hangover, being hooked after an hour in all three games so far.
While the 28-year-old might not hit the heights of last season, he’ll surely start finding the net after the international break.
Cole Palmer was second to Haaland last season and is 16/1 to top the Without Haaland market again this time around, though repeating his 22-goal haul from last term will be a tall order.
Dominic Solanke (16/1) has had a frustrating stat to life in North London, failing to score against Leicester on his debut before being cut down by injury that will keep him out until the international break. Nevertheless, Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham still look like a potent attacking outfit and Solanke will surely be the beneficiary of that ethos sooner rather than later.
Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson recorded the fourth-highest non-penalty xG last season in the Premier League and will hope to have better luck in front of goal this time around, especially with Chelsea missing out on a centre forward in the summer transfer window. The Senegal international has two to his name so far and is a 16/1 shot.
Odds will display when market is available.
