To Be Relegated

Despite winning the Championship title, Leicester City are the favourites to be relegated from the Premier League in the 2024/25 season.

The Foxes have a cloud hanging over them after they were charged by the Premier League in March for allegedly breaching profit and sustainability rules (PSR), with the club currently under a registration embargo and the prospect of a points deduction looming.

Similar uncertainty lingers around Everton, who were hit by two separate points deductions in the 2023/24 season for breaching the Premier League's spending rules and the Toffees' financial difficulties are not expected to ease anytime soon.

Sean Dyche's side are second favourites for the drop, though they proved this season that it would require more than an eight point deduction to lure them into the bottom three.

Newly-promoted Ipswich Town are next in the betting and all eyes will be on Portman Road as they make their highly-anticipated return to the top-flight for the first time since 2002.

Kieran McKenna's undertaken a phenomenal job, leading the Tractor Boys to consecutive promotions and Ipswich's survival hopes are likely to hinge on whether the former Manchester United coach remains in the dugout in Suffolk.

Nottingham Forest are another side to have suffered a points deduction in the 2023/24 campaign and they're 7/4 to be relegated next season.

Nuno Espirito Santo's outfit, who were docked four points in March, finished with a final points tally of 32, the lowest total to avoid relegation in Premier League history.

Play-off winners Southampton secured an immediate return to the Premier League under Russell Martin and the Saints priced at 7/4 for relegation.

Martin will no doubt look to implement his possession style of football in the top flight and it will be intriguing to see how they fare.

Wolves are 7/2 to finish in the bottom three next term, while Brentford are priced at 4/1 to suffer the drop ahead of their third consecutive season in England's top flight.
