The 2025/26 Premier League fixtures have been released, with champions Liverpool getting their title defence underway against Bournemouth on the Friday night.
Aston Villa will meet Newcastle in the Premier League's first lunchtime kick-off on the Saturday, in a reverse of when the pair met on the Saturday evening at the start of the 2023/24 season as the Magpies ran out 5-1 winners at St James' Park.
The 3pm fixtures on the first Saturday of the season see Brighton play host to Fulham, Europe-bound Nottingham Forest take on Brentford at the City Ground and newly promoted Sunderland facing West Ham United. before Tottenham take on Championship runners-up Burnley.
The first Saturday's evening fixture sees Manchester City travel to Molineux to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Sunday afternoon will see FA Cup winners Crystal Palace make the short trip to Stamford Bridge to take on UEFA Conference League winners Chelsea before a blockbuster opening weekend tie as Manchester United host Arsenal.
The opening round of fixtures will conclude with Championship winners Leeds United hosting Everton at Elland Road and what promises to be a raucous evening in West Yorkshire.
The final day was something of a damp squib last season with only the European spots up for grabs and it will be hoped for a more exciting climax this time around.
As they did in the 2023/24 season, Brighton and Manchester United will meet at the Amex on the final day with Burnley at home to Wolves.
Crystal Palace host Arsenal who will hope to at least take the title race to the final day this time - that is i they haven't already won it themselves.
Fulham take on Newcastle while Liverpool have a final day in front of their home fans again as they take on Brentford.
Manchester City take on Aston Villa at the Etihad and will hoping for a slightly less nerve-wracking encounter than their 2022 end-of-season showdown.
Nottingham Forest play host to Bournemouth while Chelsea make the long trip to the north east to take on Sunderland.
Tottenham will play host to Everton while Leeds face a trip to West Ham.
